Lemonade Diet (also called the Lemon Detox Diet and Master Cleanse Diet) will help you lose weight without any physical activity. Some people have lost even 40lbs while on this diet, it all depends how long you are on it. The healthy amount of time to be on this diet is 2 weeks. If you want to go over 2 weeks, I recommend you to consult a doctor first.
Beyonce used the Lemonade Diet and lost 20lbs for her role in the movie “Dreamgirls” and made this diet very famous. Jared Leto was also on this diet after gaining a lot of weight for a role in the movie “Chapter 27”, and lost 62lbs.
Before you go on this diet, you have to prepare your body for it. At least 3 days before (the more-the better) eat vegetarian food. Start with fruits and vegetables and one day before starting the diet, eat only liquid food.
Lemonade Diet Recipe:
Here is the recipe for only one serving. You should drink from six to twelve servings a day.
- 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
- 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 10 oz of filtered water
To put it very simple, this diet contains of drinking the lemonade that you will make for 10 to 14 days, 6 to 12 servings per day.
If you are a smoker, do not smoke while on lemonade diet. Also do not drink alcohol, coffee, water etc. You can consume only the lemonade you prepared if you want to have results.
Keep the drink in the refrigerator and always have a bottle with you because you should drink it when you feel hunger.
A lot of people gave up on this diet only one day after starting because of hunger and possible headaches. If you want to try this diet you should be really determined and last at least 10 days. Good luck!
