Pepsi Max is a soft drink without sugar. It is a low-calorie drink and it is also known as Diet Pepsi Max. But does Pepsi Max have caffeine? Well this refreshing soft drink has the highest dose of caffeine from all the other soft drinks.
Pepsi Max caffeine content
With 69 mg of caffeine in 355 ml (12 fl. oz.) can, it has a bit lower caffeine dosage than Red Bull (80 mg in 250 ml can). That’s about 20 mg caffeine per 100 ml, which means:
- 69 mg caffeine in 355 ml (12 fl. oz.) can.
- 97 mg caffeine in 500 ml (17 fl. oz.) bottle.
- 115 mg caffeine in 20 fl. oz. bottle.
- 207 mg caffeine in 32 fl. oz. bottle.
- 195 mg caffeine in 1 liter (34 fl. oz.) bottle.
- 293 mg caffeine in 1.5 liter (51 fl. oz.) bottle.
- 391 mg caffeine in 2 liter (68 fl. oz.) bottle.
Although Pepsi Max is not an energy drink, this product competes in the energy drink market and that’s because its caffeine amount is very high for a soft drink. The good thing is that it’s available everywhere and it’s cheap.
Taste of Pepsi Max
I’m a Pepsi guy so I will say that it tastes great. If you tried regular Pepsi you’ll know that it’s a bit sweet, but I don’t mind that because there is no sugar in it. Also, I found out that when I drink it ice cold I like the taste much more.
Energy from Pepsi Max
As for the energy, to feel the boost you’ll need to drink more than one can. There is not much caffeine in Pepsi Max, because there is a limit for caffeine in soft drinks (72 mg per serving), so you’ll need to drink a few cans or a bottle to fell the effect of the caffeine in this diet drink.
So if you plan to study or do your work all night, it’s not a bad idea to have one large ice cold bottle of Pepsi Max by your side, so you can refill your caffeine needs and keep your alertness.
